1 My Special Day at the Fish Market 

Yesterday evening, I walked out of the house with a happy heart.
I went to the fish market with Mom and Dad.
The smell of the sea was fresh and salty.
I was excited to see the fish I had only watched on TV.
It felt like I was going on a treasure hunt!

At the entrance of the market, the sea smell came into my nose.
In the big water tanks, fish swam around quickly.
I looked at red snappers, flat flounders, and shiny tunas.
They were all different and beautiful.
It was like a living ocean right in front of me!

Mom checked out the flounder and sole carefully.
Dad talked with the seller about the big shrimp and sea squirts.
They looked like real market experts.

Then, we sat down at a small restaurant in the market.
We ordered fresh sashimi from the fish they just caught.
I put a piece of flounder sashimi in my mouth.
It was chewy and sweet!
The sea squirt tasted bitter but fresh.

We also ate sea cucumber guts and abalone.
It was like tasting the deep sea.
Everything was so delicious.

After eating, we walked around the market again.
We looked at big octopuses and small squids.
We also saw shiny fish like cutlassfish and mackerel.
I was amazed to see real sea animals with my own eyes.

Dad told me the names and stories of each fish.
"This is a black porgy, and that is a stonefish," he said.
His words made the fish more interesting to me.

On the way home, Mom and Dad carried bags full of fresh fish.
They smiled happily, and I felt warm inside.
The energy of the market and the fresh seafood made it a special day.
I want to go back with my parents again soon.
I wonder what new sea animals I will see next time!

3 해석

어제 저녁, 나는 즐거운 마음으로 집을 나섰다.

엄마 아빠와 함께 수산시장에 갔기 때문이다.

바닷내음은 신선하고 짭짤했다.

TV에서만 보던 물고기들을 볼 수 있을 거라 기대되었다.

보물찾기를 떠나는 기분이었다!

 

시장 입구에 도착하자 바닷내음이 코를 간질였다.

큰 수족관 안에는 물고기들이 빠르게 헤엄치고 있었다.

도미, 광어, 참치가 보였다.

모두 다른 색깔과 모양으로 아름다웠다.

마치 바다가 그대로 옮겨진 것 같았다.

 

엄마는 광어와 도다리를 자세히 살펴보셨다.

아빠는 새우와 멍게를 두고 상인과 이야기하셨다.

그 모습은 진짜 시장 전문가 같았다.

 

우리는 시장 안 작은 식당에 앉았다.

막 잡은 회를 주문했다.

광어회 한 점을 입에 넣었다.

쫄깃하고 달콤했다!

멍게는 쌉싸름했지만 신선했다.

 

해삼 내장과 전복도 함께 먹었다.

바다의 깊은 맛이 느껴졌다.

모두 정말 맛있었다.

 

배를 채우고 시장을 다시 둘러보았다.

문어와 낙지를 봤다.

갈치와 꽁치도 있었다.

실제 바다 생물을 눈으로 보니 신기했다.

 

아빠는 물고기 이름과 이야기를 들려주셨다.

“이건 감성돔, 저건 돌돔이야.”

아빠 덕분에 물고기가 더 재미있게 느껴졌다.

 

집으로 가는 길, 부모님 손엔 생선이 가득했다.

웃는 부모님을 보며 나도 기분이 따뜻해졌다.

시장의 활기, 해산물의 풍요로움, 맛있는 회,

이 모든 것이 특별한 하루를 만들어 주었다.

다음에 또 함께 가고 싶다.

그땐 또 어떤 해양 생물을 보게 될까 벌써부터 기대된다.
