 1 The Name Game 

During class, the teacher stood up and clapped her hands.
“Let’s play a game to remember each other’s names!”

All the students sat in a circle.
“If I say your name, you have to say another name quickly!” she explained.

Jaehoon looked around, feeling nervous.
“What if I forget someone’s name?”

The teacher started off the game.
“Minji!”

Minji called out, “Jiwon!”
Jiwon smiled and said, “Sooah!”

The names went around the circle fast.

When it was Jaehoon’s turn, he froze.
“Uh… uh…”

Then he blurted out, “Teacher!”

Everyone burst out laughing, including the teacher!

“It’s okay!” she said, laughing.
“Now you’ll never forget my name!”

After that, Jaehoon relaxed and remembered all his classmates' names.

Games can turn nervous moments
into fun and friendship.

3 해석

“내가 네 이름을 부르면, 너는 다른 친구 이름을 빨리 말해야 해!” 선생님이 설명했어요.

 

재훈이는 주위를 둘러보며 긴장했어요.

‘혹시 이름을 까먹으면 어떡하지?’

 

선생님이 게임을 시작했어요.

“민지!”

 

민지가 “지원!” 하고 외쳤어요.

지원이가 웃으며 “수아!”라고 말했어요.

 

이름은 원을 따라 빠르게 돌았어요.

 

재훈이 차례가 되자, 그는 얼어붙었어요.

“어… 어…”

 

그리고는 갑자기, “선생님!”이라고 말해버렸어요.

 

모두가 웃음을 터뜨렸고, 선생님도 웃으셨어요!

 

“괜찮아!” 선생님이 웃으며 말씀하셨어요.

“이제 내 이름은 절대 안 잊겠네!”

 

그 후, 재훈이는 긴장을 풀고

모든 반 친구들의 이름을 기억했어요.

 

게임은 긴장된 순간을

즐거움과 우정으로 바꿔줘요.
