To the People Who Helped Us Grow

As I look back on my school days,

there are people I cannot forget.

They are the people who helped me grow,

even when I did not notice it.

First, I want to talk about our teachers.

Teachers were always there.

They waited for us every morning.

They taught us not only lessons,

but also how to live.

Sometimes, we did not listen well.

Sometimes, we made mistakes again and again.

But our teachers never gave up on us.

When we did not understand,

they explained one more time.

When we were tired,

they encouraged us.

When we were loud,

they stayed calm.

When we felt weak,

they believed in us.

Because of our teachers,

we learned to try again.

We learned to trust ourselves.

Next, I want to thank our families.

Every morning,

they woke us up.

They made sure we were ready for school.

On rainy days,

they held our hands.

On hard days,

they listened to us.

When we were happy,

they smiled with us.

When we were sad,

they stayed beside us.

Even when we did not say thank you,

they kept supporting us quietly.

Because of our families,

we could come to school every day.

We could dream,

and we could grow.

Now I understand something I did not know before.

I did not walk this path alone.

Many people walked with me.

Their care,

their patience,

and their love

made me who I am today.

So today,

standing here as a graduate,

I want to say one simple thing.

Thank you.

Thank you for waiting.

Thank you for believing.

Thank you for helping us grow.

We will remember your kindness

wherever we go.
