Hello everyone.

Today, I want to talk about a very special day.

It is the day I first came to this school.

I still remember that morning very clearly.

My heart was beating fast.

I felt excited, but I was also very nervous.

Everything felt new, big, and a little scary.

It was my first day of elementary school.

I wore a new uniform that was too big for me.

The sleeves were long, and the pants felt loose.

My school bag was heavy.

It was full of new books, new pencils, and new dreams.

That bag felt much bigger than me.

When I walked into the school, the building looked so tall.

The hallway felt long.

The classroom felt wide and bright.

I stood at the door and looked inside.

There were many students I did not know.

They were all strangers.

Some were smiling.

Some looked as nervous as I was.

I wanted to say hello, but my voice felt small.

I slowly walked to my seat.

I sat down and held my bag tightly.

My hands felt cold.

My heart felt warm and fast at the same time.

Then, our teacher came in.

The teacher smiled at us and said hello.

That smile made me feel a little better.

For the first time that day, I felt safe.

Soon, the classroom was filled with soft voices.

We said our names one by one.

When it was my turn, I stood up and spoke.

My voice shook, but I finished my name.

That moment was small, but it was very important.

It was the first time I felt like a student.

That day, “school” became a real place for me.

It was not just a word anymore.

It became a place where I would laugh, learn, and grow.

I did not know it then,

but that classroom would become my second home.

Those strangers would become my friends.

That big school would become a place full of memories.

Now, as I stand here today,

I look back at that first day and smile.

I was small.

I was nervous.

But I was brave.

And that was the beginning of everything.
