A Fun Weekend Trip

It was Saturday morning.

Tom and his family were going on a weekend trip.

He was very excited. They packed their bags and got into the car.

"Are we ready?" asked Dad. "Yes!" said Tom and his sister, Lily.

They drove to the mountains.

The sky was blue, and the sun was shining.

 

Tom looked out of the window and saw trees, birds, and a big river.

"Look at that!" he said. "Nature is so beautiful."

After two hours, they arrived at a small cabin.

Tom and Lily ran inside. There was a big fireplace and a cozy bed.

"This is going to be fun!" said Lily.

In the afternoon, they went hiking.

They saw deer and squirrels.

Tom picked up a pretty leaf. "I will keep this as a memory," he said.

In the evening, they made a campfire.

Dad cooked hot dogs, and Mom made s'mores.

They sat around the fire and told stories.

The stars were bright in the sky. "This is the best trip ever!" said Tom.
