Sports Day Fun
Today was Sports Day at school.
Ben woke up early. He was very excited.
"I hope we win the race!" he said.
At school, everyone wore their team colors.
Ben's team was the Blue Team.
The teacher blew the whistle.
"First race! Get ready!" she said.
Ben ran as fast as he could. "Go, go, go!" shouted his friends.
He crossed the finish line.
"I won!" he said. "Great job!" said his teacher.
Next, they played tug-of-war.
The Blue Team pulled hard.
"Pull! Pull!" everyone shouted.
The rope moved to their side.
"We did it!" they cheered.
After all the games, the teacher gave out medals.
Ben got a gold medal.
"This was the best Sports Day ever!" he said.
His parents were proud. "Great job, Ben!" said Mom.
"Let's go get some ice cream to celebrate!" said Dad.
