Making a Poster to Save the Earth 800

This week, our class learned about the environment.
Our teacher talked about pollution and global warming.
She showed us pictures of trash in rivers and smoke in the air.
I felt shocked and sad.
Then she gave us a project.

“We’re going to make posters to protect the Earth,” she said.
We got into groups and shared ideas.
My group wanted to focus on saving water.
I wrote down the title: “Every Drop Counts!”
Jina looked up facts about water waste.
Minho cut out blue waves and water drops.

I drew a sad Earth and a happy Earth.
The sad one had smoke and trash.
The happy one had trees and smiling animals.
We colored everything using green, blue, and brown.
Then we added speech bubbles to show messages.
One said, “Turn off the tap!”
Another said, “Save me, I’m the Earth!”

While we worked, we talked about what we could change.
Jina said she would stop using plastic straws.
Minho said he would bring his own water bottle.
I said I would pick up trash at the park.
We wrote our promises at the bottom of the poster.

When we finished, we stood up and looked at our work.
Our teacher came over and smiled.
She said, “You really worked hard.”
We put up the posters in the hallway.
Other students walked by and stopped to read them.

Later, I took a picture of our poster and posted it online.
My cousin commented, “This is cool!”
That made me feel proud.

At home, I told my parents about the project.
My dad said, “Let’s turn off lights when not needed.”
My mom joined and said, “We can plant a tree together.”
That night, we planned a garden.

I realized that one poster can make a difference.
If more people see it and think about it,
they might change how they live too.

Now I want to make more posters about nature.
Maybe next time I’ll write about air pollution or animals.
I want to help the Earth and inspire others too.

We’re still young, but we can still stand up for the planet.
Every small act adds up to something big.

3해석

이번 주, 우리 반은 환경에 대해 배웠어요.

선생님은 쓰레기로 가득 찬 강과 공기 중의 연기를 보여주셨어요.

저는 충격을 받고 속상했어요.

그래서 선생님은 포스터 만들기 프로젝트를 주셨어요.

 

우리는 물 절약을 주제로 정했고,

슬로건은 "Every Drop Counts!"

저는 지구 그림을 그리고,

기쁜 지구와 슬픈 지구를 나눠 표현했어요.

함께 플라스틱을 줄이자는 말풍선도 추가했어요.

 

포스터를 만들면서

우리가 직접 할 수 있는 행동도 함께 적었어요.

빨대 안 쓰기, 텀블러 들고 다니기, 쓰레기 줍기!

다 만든 후 복도에 붙였고,

친구들이 지나가며 멈춰서 읽었어요.

 

사진도 찍고, SNS에 올렸더니

사촌이 “멋지다!”고 댓글을 남겼어요.

정말 자랑스러웠어요.

 

집에 와서 부모님께도 이야기했더니

아빠는 전기 절약하자고 하시고,

엄마는 나무 심자고 하셨어요.

우리는 작은 정원을 만들기로 했답니다.

 

포스터 하나가 세상을 바꿀 수 있다는 걸 느꼈어요.

사람들이 그것을 보고 생각하고 행동한다면,

세상도 바뀔 수 있어요.

 

다음엔 동물 보호나 공기 문제에 대해 쓰고 싶어요.

지구를 돕고, 다른 사람에게도 영감을 주고 싶어요.

우린 아직 어리지만, 목소리를 낼 수 있어요.

작은 행동이 모이면 큰 변화가 되니까요.
