My First After-School Class 

Today was Hamin’s first after-school class.
He stayed behind while his friends went home.

“I’m a little nervous,” he thought to himself.

The art teacher walked in with a big smile.
“Welcome to drawing class!”

Hamin sat down and opened up his sketchbook.
“Let’s start with a tree,” the teacher said.

Hamin picked up a pencil and began to draw.
At first, his hand shook a little.

But soon, he got into it.
Leaves, branches, and even a little bird!

The teacher came over and said,
“Great work, Hamin!”

He smiled shyly. “Thank you…”

When class ended, he put away his supplies
and ran outside to tell his mom.

“I had fun! Can I come again next week?”

She hugged him and nodded.

Trying something new
can open a whole new world.

오늘은 하민이의 첫 방과 후 수업 날이었어요.
친구들이 집에 가는 동안, 하민이는 교실에 남았어요.

“조금 긴장된다…” 하민이는 속으로 생각했어요.

미술 선생님이 환하게 웃으며 교실로 들어오셨어요.
“그림 수업에 온 걸 환영해요!”

하민이는 앉아서 스케치북을 펼쳤어요.
“나무부터 시작해볼까요?” 선생님이 말씀하셨어요.

하민이는 연필을 집어 들고 그리기 시작했어요.
처음엔 손이 조금 떨렸지만,

곧 그림에 몰입했어요.
나뭇잎, 가지, 심지어 작은 새까지!

선생님이 다가와 말씀하셨어요.
“아주 잘했어요, 하민!”

하민이는 수줍게 웃었어요. “감사합니다…”

수업이 끝난 뒤, 그는 도구를 정리하고
밖으로 뛰어나가 엄마에게 말했어요.

“재미있었어! 다음 주에도 또 와도 돼?”

엄마는 하민이를 안아주며 고개를 끄덕였어요.

새로운 걸 시도하는 건
완전히 새로운 세상을 열어줄 수 있어요.
