Chapter 1: Weekend Gathering

It was Saturday afternoon at Jake’s house. He and his friends sat down in the living room with popcorn and soda, ready to chat and watch Netflix.

"Did you hear about Squid Game?" asked Noah, grabbing a handful of popcorn.

Jake looked up from his phone. "Yeah! It’s so intense! Have you watched it?"

Sophia took out her tablet and played a short clip. "I watched the first episode. It was crazy! The Red Light, Green Light game was so scary!"

"That robot doll freaked me out!" said Jake. "She just turned around and stared at everyone."

"And people got eliminated so fast!" added Mia. "I couldn’t believe it!"

They talked about their favorite parts while watching short clips and reacting to the scenes.

 

 Chapter 2: Favorite Games in the Show

After finishing their snacks, they ran into Jake’s older sister in the hallway.

"Hey, guys! What are you talking about?" she asked while checking her phone.

"We are going over the best Squid Game challenges!" said Noah. "Which one was the hardest?"

Sophia jumped in excitedly. "The Honeycomb challenge! You have to be so careful when cutting the shape!"

"Yeah! If you mess up, you’re out!" Jake said. "I would probably choose the circle. It looks the easiest."

"I think Tug of War was the most intense!" said Mia. "They really had to hold on so tight!"

"Did you know some people came up with real-life Squid Game challenges on YouTube?" asked Noah.

"Really? I need to check it out!" said Jake. "I wonder if we could try one!"

"You should! And they also hang out after each game, making alliances," added Sophia.

"That’s so cool!" said Mia. "If we were in the game, what strategy would we use?"

 

Chapter 3: Squid Game Challenge at Home

Jake grabbed a piece of paper, and they gathered around the coffee table.

"Okay, let’s figure out how we can play some of the games safely!" Jake said, flipping to a blank page.

"We should write down some easy challenges and test them out!" suggested Noah. "Let’s do Red Light, Green Light first!"

They came up with a few fun and safe versions of the Squid Game challenges.

After setting up, Jake announced, "Let’s start the game! And no cheating!"

Mia laughed. "This is going to be so much fun! Just don’t turn into the robot doll!"

They all burst into laughter and continued playing their homemade Squid Game, excited to test their skills while staying safe at home.
