다시 시작하는 영어 일기Erasing the Chalkboard for the First Time 100

Yujin was the chalkboard helper today.
유진이는 오늘 칠판 지우기 당번이었어요.

“I finally get to try this!”
“드디어 이걸 해보는구나!”

After class, she picked up the eraser.
수업이 끝나고, 유진이는 칠판 지우개를 들었어요.

The board was full of words and drawings.

Her friend Haram walked over.
그녀의 친구 하람이가 다가왔어요.

“You need a wet cloth. I’ll help you.”
“물걸레가 필요해. 내가 도와줄게.”

They wiped the board together.
둘은 함께 칠판을 닦았어요.

The chalk finally disappeared!

“Wow, look! It’s shining!”
“우와, 봐봐! 칠판이 반짝여!”

Just then, the teacher walked in.

“Who cleaned the board so well?”
“누가 이렇게 잘 닦았니?”

“Me and Haram!” Yujin answered proudly.
“저랑 하람이요!” 유진이는 자랑스럽게 대답했어요.

That day, Yujin learned that cleaning can feel good too.
그날, 유진이는 청소도 기분 좋은 일이라는 걸 배웠어요.

A small job became a big smile.
작은 일이 큰 미소로 바뀌었어요.
