Making a Poster to Protect the Earth

Hi guys! Today, I want to share a story about how I made a poster to help protect the Earth.

It all started when my science teacher talked about pollution.
She showed us pictures of dirty water and trash in the ocean.
It made me feel really sad.
I looked at the pictures and thought, “We must do something!”
So, the teacher gave us homework: make a poster about protecting the Earth.

That afternoon, I went to the art room.
I picked up my pencil and crayons.
First, I drew the Earth with trees, mountains, and rivers.
Then, I added clouds and stars in the sky.
But on one side, I drew trash and dirty water.
I wanted to show both good and bad sides.

I wrote a message: “Save the Earth!”
My friend came by and said, “That looks great!”
She also started to draw her poster.
We sat down together and shared ideas.
We talked about recycling, water, trees, and animals.
I learned that small actions can help a lot.
We can turn off lights, use less plastic, and plant trees.

Later, I cut out shapes of flowers and pasted them on my poster.
I colored the letters with red, green, and blue.
When I finished, I stood back and smiled.
The poster looked bright and full of hope.

The next day, I took it to school.
I showed it to my class.
My teacher put it up on the wall.
She said, “Great job!”
Other students came to see it.
They asked me how I made it.
I told them, “Just think about the Earth as your home.”
They nodded and smiled.

I felt proud of my work.
Now I want to make more posters about the Earth.
I also want to help clean the park near my school.
We all can do something to protect nature.
The Earth is our home.
Let’s take care of it together.

안녕 여러분! 오늘은 제가 지구를 지키기 위해 만든 포스터에 대한 이야기를 들려줄게요.

 

모든 건 과학 시간에 선생님이 오염에 대해 이야기하시면서 시작됐어요.

선생님은 더러운 물과 바다의 쓰레기 사진을 보여주셨어요.

그걸 보고 정말 속상했어요.

사진을 바라보며 ‘무언가 해야 해!’라고 생각했어요.

그래서 선생님은 숙제를 주셨어요: 지구 보호 포스터 만들기.

 

그날 오후, 저는 미술실로 갔어요.

연필과 크레용을 들었죠.

먼저 지구와 나무, 산, 강을 그렸어요.

그 위엔 구름과 별도 넣었어요.

하지만 한쪽엔 쓰레기와 더러운 물을 그렸어요.

좋은 모습과 나쁜 모습을 모두 보여주고 싶었어요.

 

포스터엔 “지구를 지켜요!”라고 썼어요.

친구가 와서 “멋지다!”고 말했어요.

그 친구도 자기 포스터를 그리기 시작했어요.

우리는 함께 앉아 아이디어를 나눴어요.

재활용, 물, 나무, 동물에 대해 이야기했죠.

작은 행동도 도움이 된다는 걸 배웠어요.

불을 끄고, 플라스틱을 덜 쓰고, 나무를 심을 수 있어요.

 

그다음 꽃 모양을 오려서 포스터에 붙였어요.

글자엔 빨강, 초록, 파랑 색을 칠했어요.

다 끝내고 뒤로 물러서서 보니 웃음이 났어요.

밝고 희망이 가득해 보였거든요.

 

다음 날 학교에 가져가서 친구들에게 보여줬어요.

선생님이 벽에 붙여주셨어요.

“아주 잘했어!”라고 칭찬도 받았어요.

다른 친구들이 보러 와서 어떻게 만든 거냐고 물었어요.

“지구를 집처럼 생각해보면 돼,”라고 말했어요.

다들 고개를 끄덕이며 웃었어요.

 

제 작업이 자랑스러웠어요.

앞으로도 지구 포스터를 더 만들고 싶어요.

학교 근처 공원도 청소하고 싶고요.

우리는 모두 자연을 지키기 위해 무언가를 할 수 있어요.

지구는 우리의 집이니까요.

함께 돌봐줘야 해요.
