Hi everyone! Today, I’m going to tell you about the time I joined the math contest at school.

One day, our math teacher walked into class and told us about a contest.
She said, “It’s not easy, but you should try!”
I raised my hand and said, “I want to join.”
My heart beat fast, but I also felt excited.

After school, I went home and opened my notebook.
I started to study right away.
Each day, I worked on math problems.
Some were hard, but I didn’t give up.
I used my pencil and ruler a lot.

My dad helped me at home too.

일주일 후 선생님이 결과를 들고 들어오셨어요.

이름을 부르시는데, 제 이름이 들렸어요!

3등이었어요!

자리에서 일어나자 모두가 박수를 쳐줬어요.

정말 크게 웃었어요.

 

그날 집으로 뛰어가서 가족에게 자랑했어요.

“우린 정말 자랑스러워!”라며 안아주셨어요.

정말 최고의 날 중 하나였어요.

열심히 하면 멋진 결과가 온다는 걸 알게 됐어요.
