Playing with Friends
It was a sunny day. After school, Mia and her friends met up at the park.
"I can't wait to play with you all!" Mia said.
Her friends laughed and called out, "Let’s have fun!"
First, they set up a soccer game.
"Who wants to be on my team?" asked Mia.
"I do!" said Ben. "Me too!" said Lily.
They split up into two teams and kicked off the game.
Mia ran after the ball and passed it on to Lily.
"Nice pass!" said Lily, kicking it into the goal.
"Yay! We scored!" everyone cheered.
After playing, they sat down to rest under a tree.
Mia took out some juice.
"Let’s drink up and play more," said Mia.
Suddenly, a puppy ran up to them and lay down on Mia's lap.
"Look, a new friend!" said Lily.
After the break, they went to the swings.
"Let’s hop on and see who goes higher!" said Ben.
They pushed off and swung high.
"Look at me!" Mia called out.
Later, they climbed up the jungle gym.
"Don’t fall off!" said Mia.
Ben swung across the bars and laughed.
As the sun went down, they packed up.
"I don’t want to go home," said Ben.
"We can come back tomorrow!" said Lily.
"Let’s do that!" said Mia.
The puppy ran after them as they walked away.
"It was a great day," Mia smiled.
