1 A Perfect Saturday with My Brother 

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon. My heart was full of joy like a balloon going up into the sky. Today was the special day I had been waiting for! I was going to ride a bike along the Han River with my cool big brother, Kim Taejun!

As I stepped out of the house, a fresh breeze brushed against my cheeks. My brother was already sitting on his bike and smiling at me. He usually acts strict, but today he looked strong and kind, like a great travel buddy.

“Hurry up! We’ll be late!” he shouted. My heart beat fast as I started to pedal hard. He took off first like the wind, and I followed him as fast as I could. When we got into the Han River bike road, the view in front of me made me say “Wow!”

The river was shining with silver light, and green grass and colorful flowers were lining up along the road. It was like a picture postcard. We felt so free as we rode our bikes.

Sometimes we had a fun race to see who could go faster. Sometimes we stopped by to take pictures and make special memories. Usually, we fight a lot. But today, we felt like best friends—or even more than that.

After riding for a long time, my stomach made a loud sound. “Hyung, I’m hungry!” I said. My brother pulled out a big backpack. He had a small stove, a pot, and a red bag of ramen! We sat on the grass. He boiled water and cooked the noodles like a pro. The smell was amazing!

We ate up the hot ramen together. It was delicious! The fresh wind and warm soup made me feel so happy. The soft noodles danced in my mouth.

After eating, we lay down on a mat and looked up at the blue sky. The white clouds looked like animals. We talked and laughed about the cloud shapes. We also rolled around on the grass like little kids. I felt so warm and happy inside. It was like we were true friends today.

As the red sun slowly went down, we got on our bikes again and went home. I was a little sweaty from riding, but I was full of joy. Riding with my brother, eating ramen, and playing on the grass will be a memory I’ll never forget.

On the way home, I made a promise. I will come again next weekend with my brother. And we’ll make even more fun memories together!

3 해석

형과 함께한 완벽한 토요일

 

화창한 토요일 오후, 제 마음은 하늘로 솟아오르는 풍선처럼 두근거렸어요. 오늘은 제가 오랫동안 기다리던 날이거든요! 우리 멋진 형, 김태준과 함께 한강 자전거 도로를 달리는 날이니까요!

 

집 문을 열고 나가자마자, 시원한 바람이 제 볼을 스치듯 지나갔어요. 형은 이미 자전거 위에 앉아 있었고, 저를 보며 웃고 있었어요. 평소엔 잔소리만 하는 형이지만 오늘은 정말 듬직해 보였어요.

 

“빨리 와! 늦겠어!” 형이 말했어요. 저는 설레는 마음으로 자전거 페달을 힘껏 밟았어요. 형은 먼저 쌩 달려 나갔고, 저는 뒤를 따라 달렸죠. 한강 자전거길에 들어서는 순간, 눈앞의 풍경에 감탄이 절로 나왔어요.

 

은빛 한강이 반짝이고, 길 옆으로는 초록 잔디와 알록달록한 꽃들이 줄지어 피어 있었어요. 마치 그림엽서 같았죠. 저희는 자유롭게 자전거를 타며 행복을 느꼈어요.

 

가끔은 누가 더 빠른지 속도 시합도 하고, 멋진 풍경이 보일 땐 잠깐 멈춰 사진도 찍었어요. 평소엔 자주 싸우지만, 오늘은 진짜 친구처럼 느껴졌어요.

 

오래 자전거를 타다 보니 배가 고팠어요. “형, 나 배고파!”라고 하자 형은 가방에서 버너, 냄비, 그리고 라면을 꺼냈어요. 형은 익숙한 솜씨로 라면을 끓였고, 냄새가 너무 맛있게 났어요!

 

우리는 라면을 후루룩 다 먹었어요. 정말 꿀맛이었어요! 시원한 바람과 따뜻한 국물이 최고였죠. 면발은 입 안에서 춤을 췄어요.

 

배가 부르자 잔디밭에 누워서 하늘을 봤어요. 구름이 동물 모양처럼 변해서 재미있었어요. 구름을 보며 얘기도 하고, 풀밭을 뒹굴며 장난도 쳤어요. 진짜 친구가 된 느낌이었어요.

 

해가 서서히 지고, 저희는 자전거에 다시 올라타고 집으로 돌아왔어요. 땀이 살짝 났지만, 마음은 기쁨으로 가득했어요. 형과 보낸 오늘 하루는 오래오래 기억에 남을 거예요.

 

집으로 가는 길, 저는 다짐했어요. 다음 주말에도 형이랑 다시 오자고요. 오늘보다 더 신나고 행복한 하루를 만들 거예요!
