My First Smartphone Adventure

When I was ten years old, my mom gave me her old smartphone.
It was not new, and the screen had a small crack, but I was so happy!
I felt like a grown-up because now I had my own phone

First, I turned on the phone. The light was so bright!
I looked through all the apps.
There were games, a camera, music, and even an SNS app!

I was excited to talk to my friends.
So I set up my account and logged into SNS.
Then I made up a chat room and sent out a message:
"Hey guys! Guess what? I have a phone now!"

My friends wrote back so fast.
"Wow, really? That's awesome!"
"Let’s hang out and take pictures!"

I went out to the park with my friends.
We walked around and looked for fun places to take selfies.
There were beautiful flowers, a big playground, and a cute puppy running around.

We picked out a spot under the tree and took out our phones.
"Let’s take some cool photos!" my friend said.
We smiled, made funny faces, and took so many pictures.

Then, my best friend showed me an app to put on makeup.
"You can make your face look so pretty or so funny!" she said.
I put on red lipstick, shiny eyes, and long eyelashes.
"Wow! This is 500% makeup!" I laughed.
My friends also tried on the makeup filters and laughed too.

"Look at me! I look like a movie star!" one friend said.
We came up with funny poses, like rock stars and princesses, and took even more pictures.

After we were done, we sat down on a bench to rest.
"I’m so happy you got a phone," my friend said. "Now we can talk anytime!"

When I got back home, I looked at all the pictures again.
Some were so silly that I laughed at them for a long time.

But then my phone beeped!
It said, "Storage full!"
I had taken too many photos!

So I went through my gallery and deleted some old pictures I didn’t need.
I kept the best and funniest ones from today.

Later that night, I sent out my favorite pictures to my mom.
She called me up and said,
"Wow, you had fun today! But next time, don’t put on so much crazy makeup!"

We both laughed.
Now, when I look back on that day, I feel very happy.
It was the best day with my first smartphone!
