누구라도 거쳐가는 초등학생 영어 동화 – Classroom Cleaning Duty 100

 

 

Today, Bora was on cleaning duty.
오늘은 보라가 교실 청소 당번이었어요.

She picked up a broom and looked around the room.
그녀는 빗자루를 들고, 교실을 둘러보았어요.

“Wow, there’s so much dust!” she mumbled.
“우와, 먼지가 진짜 많다…” 그녀는 중얼거렸어요.

Her partner, Daon, swept near the window.
짝인 다온이는 창가 근처를 쓸고 있었어요.
(sweep: 쓸다)

Bora started to sweep, too.
보라도 같이 쓸기 시작했어요.

“Oops!” She accidentally knocked over a pencil cup.
“앗!” 그녀는 실수로 연필통을 엎질렀어요.

Pencils rolled under the desks.
연필들이 책상 아래로 굴러갔어요.

Daon got down to help her pick them up.
다온이는 몸을 숙여, 연필을 줍는 걸 도와줬어요.

“Thanks… Sorry I made a mess.”
“고마워… 내가 어지럽혀서 미안해.”

“It’s okay. We’re a team!”
“괜찮아. 우린 팀이잖아!”

They wiped the desks and emptied the trash can.
둘은 책상을 닦고, 쓰레기통도 비웠어요.

“Let’s push the chairs in, too!”
“의자도 밀어 넣자!”

When they were done, the classroom looked clean and fresh.
청소가 끝났을 땐, 교실이 깨끗하고 상쾌해 보였어요.

The teacher walked in and smiled.
선생님이 들어오시며 미소 지었어요.
