Staying Late for Our Group Presentation 

Hey everyone! Today, I want to tell you about the day I stayed late at school for a group presentation.

It all started last week when our teacher gave us a project.
We had to work in groups and make a science presentation.
My group had four students: me, Jisoo, Minho, and Yuna.

At first, we sat down in the classroom and talked about our topic.
We chose “The Water Cycle.”
I picked up my pencil and started to draw a big diagram.
Jisoo wrote down facts.
Minho looked for pictures in a book.
Yuna cut out paper shapes to paste on our poster.

We worked hard all week.
Every day after school, we met in the library.

Sometimes we laughed, and sometimes we got tired.

The night before the presentation, we stayed at school until 6 p.m.
We sat around a big table and checked everything.
One part was missing, so I offered to fix it.

Then we all put together the final poster.

Yuna practiced her speech, and I helped her with the hard words.

We all took turns speaking and shared our parts.

After we finished, we were tired but happy.

유나는 연설문을 연습했고,

저는 어려운 단어들을 도와줬어요.

민호는 도입부를 소리 내어 읽었고,

우리는 번갈아 가며 발표 연습을 했어요.

 

마치고 나니 피곤했지만 기분이 좋았어요.

시계를 봤는데 벌써 6시였죠.

서둘러 짐을 싸고 “잘 가!” 인사했어요.

 

집에 도착하자

엄마가 “왜 이렇게 늦었어?”라고 물으셨어요.

프로젝트 이야기를 하자

“정말 잘했어”라고 말씀해주셨어요.

 

다음 날 우리는 반 앞에 섰고,

심장이 빨리 뛰었지만

깊게 숨 쉬고 발표를 시작했어요.

모두 조용히 들어줬고, 발표가 끝나자 박수도 쳐줬어요.

 

모든 노력은 정말 가치 있었어요.

이제 저는 팀워크와 노력이 결과를 가져온다는 걸 확실히 알게 되었어요.

그리고 가끔 늦게까지 남는 건… 멋진 일을 해낸다는 뜻이기도 하죠.
